Yuji is one of the many fantastic musicians in Japan. Chord soloing is a little bit of a lost art, and there is a lot to learn from the master guitar players of the 1930s, such as Allen Reuss, Dick McDonough, Carl Kress, and many others. Yuji has also gone a step further and added his own personal touches in order to show that it is possible to adapt early jazz guitar concepts to contemporary jazz guitar playing.
